Jen's Story...

Ever since discovering the multi-sport world several years ago, Jen has dedicated her life to becoming a top endurance competitor.  Racing professionally has enabled her to travel the world, meet incredible people and most of all, challenge and push her body in ways she hadn't thought possible.  Over the years, she has worked hard and is now racing with and against the best endurance athletes in the world.

Jen is currently racing for USA adventure racing team, nuun-SportMulti and for Salomon Canada as a solo endurance competitor. With races springing up around the globe, Jen is constantly on the road, moving from airport to airport in search of adventure, challenge and new experiences.

Over the past year, Jen has become involved with
Impossible2possible, an organization committed to using global adventures to inspire youth to protect the environment.  Some amazing expeditions are planned for the future.  Jen has taken a new role with the foundation as the head of Extraordinary Acts, a position that allows her to reach out to school groups across North America and get them involved with both i2p’s expeditions and in creating their own ideas to better the environment.

Jen is a certified ACE personal trainer, specializing in endurance.  She has spent the last several years coaching athletes around North America to assist them with achieving personal goals.  When in Squamish, Jen offers conditioning classes in the great outdoors and teaches trail running clinics. She is the race course director for the Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race – Squamish event which was recently voted the  best adventure race in Western Canada.  Jen is the co-founder of PaddleFit, a combination workout of Stand Up Paddleboarding and dry land conditioning. Jen writes a regular column for Breathe Multi-sport Magazine and has had features appear in Canadian Running Magazine, Trail Runner and Impact.

When not training, Jen enjoys spending time at the local coffee shop in Brackendale catching up with friends and planning for her next adventure. Jen see’s the glass of life as half full and the things to do on her “bucket list” continue to grow daily.
