Hut to Hut in the Italian Alpine!
"Each mountain is like a piece of art" Reinhold Messner
The Dolomites, a jewel of the European Alps and UNESCO world heritage site also serve as an alpine running mecca for those brave enough to get off the beaten path. With thousands of kilometers of single track trail connecting stunning villages to alpine refuges and multicolored, jagged rock massifs, this area is a true trail runner paradise.
Join Jen and Ross Berg, IFMGA Mountain Guide this September 2019 to tackle the stunning and challenging Alta Via 2. Connecting iconic Tirolian villages Bressanone to Croce d'Aune passing through the Puez-Odle Natural Park and of course the legendary and highest mountain the Dolomites: Marmolada. We will be running either from small villages or from alpine refuge to refuge over 8 days and 7 nights.
